We’re Jarrod and Sarah, a two-person dog training team residing in Saint Johns, FL. We work with all breeds and temperaments, offering a 4-week board + train program where your dog lives and trains in our home, as well as private lessons where we travel to you for convenience. From puppy training to fixing behavior issues, we’re here to help you and your dog succeed and feel confident maintaining their progress.
By the end of our program, you’ll feel confident taking your dog anywhere! With our training, support, and tools, we set you up for success at home and on the go. Whether you choose a board + train or private lessons, we’re here to guide you and your dog every step of the way.

That training and instruction did not stop after Luger came home. We received regular visits at different locations with Cold Water K9 to continue our training. We always feel that we are able to call them and receive information or a hands on lesson when we need it. The training we received with Luger was the best thing we ever did for him….and us. Luger walks well on a leash and we feel that we can take him anywhere that dogs are allowed. He has learned to ride well and without anxiety in the car. AMAZING work with our dog Rocky. My husband wanted to get rid of Rocky and Cold Water K9 came to his
rescue! We now know several commands to keep Rocky in check. The barking is at an appropriate level, he plays well with others and LOVES to travel. We are able to control him on walks and bring him to pet friendly restaurants and businesses. His favorite is going to Chipotle and the bank. My husband has grown to love him and so have our guests. Lastly, when we go on vacation without Rocky we know he has a comfortable and safe home boarding with Cold Water K9. We are so grateful for Jarrod and Sarah.

Words cannot describe our respect and appreciation for the superb services we received from Cold Walker K9. We sent our then 3-year old Airedale Terrier, Skye, to Cold Water K9’s board and train. Skye is the sweetest dog in the world but we struggled with her adherence to commands, safe outdoor walking, wanting to be the first one through the door, and the crazy behavior between our cat and her. Now “sit” really does mean sit, “stay” means stay, “here” means here. Loose leash walking and control throughout the walk is perfect. Plus, Jarrod and Sarah trained us, too, on how to give commands, correct behaviors, properly use training and walking collars, and a whole lot more. There isn’t a day we regret our decision to train our dog at Cold Water K9 – we would do it again in a heartbeat!
